The Tasmanian Medical Orchestra is a fun and friendly orchestra where medical students, health allies and medical professionals with a passion for music gather to play orchestral pieces! We play a wide range of music from classical to movie themes. Anyone at any level of instrumental skills is welcome! We meet at the Hobart Clinical School every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and hold concerts at Menzies at the end of each semester to showcase our performance. The Tasmanian Medical Orchestra expect to hold weekly rehearsals with fluctuating attendance, typically between 20 to 30 members. First rehearsal was on 25 February and typically finishes two to four weeks before final exams in Semester 2.
