Bangladesh Students’ Association UTAS (BSA UTAS) is a student-led community that supports Bangladeshi students at the University of Tasmania. Our aim is to create a friendly and welcoming environment where students can connect, feel at home, and support each other.
We organise a variety of events throughout the year, including cultural celebrations such as Pohela Boishakh and Cultural Night, social gatherings like Ramadan Iftar, and sports events including the BSA UTAS Equinox Premier League, futsal, and indoor games. We also run information sessions to support new international students as they settle into life in Tasmania.
We hold regular meetings as needed, usually before major events, and stay connected with our members through social media and group communication.
Most of our activities take place in Hobart and run throughout the academic year, depending on student engagement and availability.
