DArchside provides opportunities for students at the School of Architecture and Design to participate in and enjoy social, educational and cultural events. Connecting students with each other, and the broader architecture community is our goal. We are also aiming to foster a cross-disciplinary culture at the newly-expanding Inveresk Campus.
Events such as the ‘Firm Crawl’ and ‘Archi Parti’ are popular headliners of the DArchside calendar. The Firm Crawl gives students the opportunity to see what the profession is really like, with visits to some of Tassie’s exciting design practices. The Archi Parti is our way of celebrating each end-of-semester. Students take to the dancefloor with costumes of their own design. We also provide support for students across all year levels with student-led tutorials and other ‘help’ sessions throughout each semester.
