The Analogue Photographic Society facilitates workshops, feedback sessions and has a strong focus on supporting emerging artists and/or those fresh to the analogue medium. APS supports members working with 35mm, medium format and large format cameras. With access to the darkroom and chemicals to develop black and white film, each Wednesday from 9am-5pm members can develop film and make darkroom prints. Workshops generally run every 2-3 weeks. To be a member you have to be a current student or alumni from UTAS. There will be 2 upcoming field trips this year. APS is based on experimentation, skill sharing and creating a space that is welcoming, inclusive and fun.
