The Pride Society of TUSA was established in 2021 in the hopes of creating spaces for students to connect, feel welcome and find other like-minded LGBTQIA+. So in 2021we ran BBQ’s, dance parties, personal development sessions, film nights, market days and the rainbow colours painted on campus in both Hobart (Trans colours included) and Launceston. For a year in covid, we did heaps, and aim to have a hugely successful 2022 with the amazing support of our members.
