The DArchside Student Society provides opportunities for members of the Society to participate and enjoy social and cultural events that connect the students with the broader architecture community and to provide more opportunities for students to engage across all year levels within Architecture & Design.
Social events such as pizza nights and end of semester celebrations are held as well as education based events that invite Tasmanian Architects to the school to come and chat with architecture students about their work and what working in the profession is actually like. The society aims to provide support for students across all year levels through having student-led tutorials and other ‘help’ sessions to promote a collaborative environment for all students.
