Tasmanian Students for Palestine strives to create an interactive network of a social and educational nature, centred on advocacy for Palestine. They plan to achieve this through the organisation of social and cultural events in collaboration with the Palestinian community, such as film screenings, quiz nights, seminars, traditional food preparation workshops and knowledge sharing events. Tasmanian Students for Palestine advocate for worldwide decolonization and human rights. They recognise lutruwita/Tasmania and Palestine’s shared history and reality as occupied territories.
