The BESST is a business related student society as well as the Business Student Society at University of Tasmania, Newnham Campus.
Business and Economic Student Society of Tasmania was found in 2018, by Ratchata Panyadong, together with his classmates (Brandon Liau, Hannah Israel and Madison Schenk) from different majors under Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. This idea of establishing the business student society raised as there was not such society that we could have been supported by while we study at the university. This inspired us to take initiative to do something that not only would benefit us but also would benefit all the students and university as a whole.
At Business and Economic Student Society of Tasmania, we do our best to facilitate and host social, educational, and networking events to empower the students while they are at UTAS We believe that student life is some thing more than acquiring knowledge and it has to be great.
