The 2021 Team

State Council Purpose

State Council is the main decision maker at the TUSA and represents students, promotes their ideas and advocate their views and interests. We are a democratic and non-political institution, with all students given equal opportunity to get involved. We help the University to serve its students and make them aware of wider issues. We work with you to create effective change through leadership and community building.

SRC Purpose

The Student Representative Councils are the regional hubs of the TUSA and focus on campus specific events and initiatives for students. The SRCs represent specific student cohorts on important themes such as Women’s rights, LGBTQIA students, the Environment, Welfare, Postgraduates and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We have SRCS in the South, North and Cradle Coast representing every University of Tasmania student.
